The work of a catechist is vital to the life of the Church! Sharing from their own joyfilled faith, catechists lead youth in small groups and classes. Our weekly K-5 Program is weekly on Tuesdays. Regular formation and support is provided for catechists. CASE training is required for all volunteers who work with youth. Additional information about Faith Formation may be found here.
Research shows that having multiple mentors in faith in addition to parents can help keep youth connected to their faith. Sharing from their own joyfilled faith, catechists lead youth in small groups and classes. Youth Ministry gatherings occur about 2 times a month. Service projects and other events are help in addition to the regular youth gatherings. CASE training is required for all volunteers who work with youth.

You can help in one of the following ways:
Youth in grades 7 and up can serve in K-5 Faith Formation as teacher helpers/classroom aides. Youth in Grades 9-12 can assist in middle school classrooms as well. CASE for youth training is required for all youth who volunteer with younger children.
The witness of people of faith to those who are preparing for sacraments and/or entrance into the Church is so important. Sharing from their own joyfilled faith, these volunteers help adults and children to prepare for the grace they will receive in the Sacraments. CASE training is required for all volunteers who work with youth.
